Holland & Barrett Evening Primrose Oil provides the fatty acids linoleic acid (LA) and gamma linolenic acid (GLA). Not all fatty acids can be produced in the body, so they must be supplied through diet or supplementation. Inside the body, linoleic acid is metabolized to GLA, which is essential for the production of certain hormone-like substances called prostaglandins. Human breast milk is one of the richest natural sources of GLA, while LA can be found in safflower, hemp, and sunflower oils.
How to Use / Warning
Take 1.25 ml (1/4 teaspoon) daily, preferably with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
